We offer biophilic design consulting to stakeholders in the building and design industry.
This can include:
Biophilic design is a growing concept with room for more research if you wish to pioneer a new concept we will gladly assist you. This can be in one of a number of ways from project managing the project or conducting research on the implementation of a biophilic design.
Schools, hospitals, frail and elderly housing as well as offices are identified spaces in the built environment that have benefitted from biophilic design and where research has shown positive effects. Contact us if you would like to read up more on this.
We do also see the importance of creating homes and get away spaces in nature that use low impact design and create a sense of well-being and comfort and we would love to help you create a unique and dreamy space.
We offer our own hemp and organic cotton linen range.
They come in a variety of colours and a summer and winter weight fabric.
Custom orders can be discussed. See the hemp linen catalog under the 'resources' page here.
"Wears in - not out.
Durable fabric that breathes & ages with grace.
Hyper-allergenic - great for sensitive skin.
Live in material that softens with time."
We have travelled Southern Africa finding artisans to work with that have the right ethos and quality work. Many of them live on the fringe of conservation areas and our work gives them opportunities to share their craftsmanship with the world.
They can do custom pieces and work with materials like rolled or melted up-cycled glass, up-cycled copper wiring, hemp and other natural fibres as well as hand-painted textile prints.
"Gardens today have nothing to do with the feelings the wild places give us. They are not glowing with life force and atmosphere" Mary Reynolds
We strive to change this in our wild garden designs.
Wild garden landscaping is a new offering as our founder realised the lack of biodiversity in modern gardens as well as the misbelief of what supports life in a garden or urban setting. We look to work alongside ecologists and botanists in creating outdoor spaces that are not only beautiful but support healthy eco-systems and provide vegetation as diverse as what you find in a pristine natural environment.
